Over 90% of your brewing ingredient unlocks will ONLY occur in the pub. Raffle prizes in the pub are a key revenue source for starting brewers. And every veteran player will tell you that beer sales increase more than 10x if you are in the pub because other players will buy your beers in exchange for your buying theirs. Helping each other is the fastest way to advance your virtual brewery and the pub is the best place to make that happen.
